It is the easiest method for customized identification products. All you need is a UV exposure device and water.

The image is embedded in the aluminium and can only be destroyed by destroying the metal itself.

ID-Mark signs are finished with a black image on silver background and are made from a special hard anodised aluminium plate. 

The process is very much like printing a picture except that aluminium is used rather than photographic paper.   A negative of the subject matter is placed in contact with the ID-Mark plate in a vacuum frame and exposed.   All you need is to wash this with water. Your  sign is ready in 5 minutes !
